The wedding bells are ringing, its time for celebrations galore and a lot of joy. It is also customary to give gifts on wedding – not just to the bride and groom but also to all the near and dear ones.
These days both the families exchange gifts as a part of the wedding celebrations. It is always a good thing to think of new and innovative gifts which would not only be useful but will also be remembered for a long time.
Gifts for the Bride
It is a time for a new beginning for every girl- her wedding. She is at the onset of a new life and therefore, the list of things that she needs for building her new world is endless. You can just take a look around your own home and decide on something that looks useful enough to you and also fits in your budget.
Starting with normal home décor items like paintings, wall panels, lamps, accessories, and vases etc, you can take a deeper look at choices with things like useful kitchen appliances, electronics, and furniture etc. If your budget is not all that high, you can get a lot of things in moderate budget like cutlery sets with gold/silver finish, serving sets, luggage, wall clocks, luxurious linen etc. Things of personal use like wrist watches, jewellery, make up kits and even good pieces of clothing can be good options.
Gifts for the Groom
While when selecting a gift for a bride you can have a much wider horizon, while selecting something specifically for a groom you have to limit yourself to general men’s items. The things that you normally gift to a groom are wrist watches, expensive silk ties and perfumes etc. However, if you do have a larger budget, you can go off the beaten track and do something different. Offer to buy a small holiday package for two maybe 2-3 months after the marriage.
Everybody loves a paid vacation and it will also come across as a thoughtful gesture. Alternatively, you can buy the couple a nice dinner date at a fancy place accompanied by some small token gift like a compilation of the wedding pictures taken by you of unusual, uncaught moments.
